I Fasted and Prayed for Good 10 Months To Became Governor - Amaechi

RIVERS State Governor and Chairman of the Nigerian Governors’ Forum has attributed the increasing level of insecurity within the national. He additionally said God, and not any man, put him as a governor because he fasted and prayed very hard for good ten months before he became the governor.
Amaechi also said, instead of chase criminals removed from the state, the police had determined to shoot innocent people. The governor, who spoke atSaint Vincent De Paul Catholic Church in Port Harcourt on Wednesday, said insecurity within the state was growing as a result of the police had didn't do their job in associate unbiased manner.

Maintaining that his government was put in by the Redeemer (Jesus Christ) , Amaechi urged the individuals to disregard people who claimed to be accountable for his emergence because the governor of the state. He said, “As a government LED by ME, a government put in by Christ, if anybody tells you he put in ME, tell him it's a big lie. Tell him that I said "I prayed for good ten months and that i fasted from 6am to 6pm, vocation on Christ to come down and Christ mightily put ME as governor.
